Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information Artificial Intelligence for Coding ("the Site") collects, and how it is used. The short version: this Site is a static blog that collects as little as possible.
1. Information We Collect
The Site does not require you to create an account or log in. It runs no tracking script of its own; the third-party code it does load is listed in section 3, and the advertising described in section 4 is the only part of it that sets a cookie.
- Contact form: If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent to the Site owner so your message can be answered. It is stored by the Site owner's own form service, which runs on Cloudflare, and delivered by email through Purelymail.
- Local settings: Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.
2. How Information Is Used
Information you submit via the contact form is used solely to read and respond to your message. It is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
The Site relies on a small number of third-party services to function:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the Site and may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request data) for security and reliability.
- Purelymail delivers contact-form submissions by email. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts is used to load typefaces, which may involve a request to Google's servers.
- Google AdSense serves the advertising on the Site. See section 4.
- First-party analytics counts page views from this domain. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device: the page, the referring site, your country and whether you are on a phone or a desktop, and nothing else. Visitors are counted with a one-way hash of IP address and browser version that changes at midnight, so the inputs are never stored and the same person is not followed from one day to the next.
Each third party operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Site sets no cookies of its own, and its analytics are cookieless as described above. The only client-side storage the Site itself uses is the local theme preference.
Advertising is different, and worth stating plainly. Ads are served through Google AdSense, and Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to select an ad and measure whether it worked. Those cookies may draw on your visits to other websites as well as this one. You can switch personalised advertising off in Google My Ad Center, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices; ads still appear, they are simply chosen without that history. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set. Google describes its own handling in Google Privacy & Terms.
5. Data Retention
Contact-form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and keep a reasonable record of correspondence.
6. Your Choices
You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset your theme preference. You are not required to use the contact form; you may email directly instead.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
